Description: “The teacher understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies to encourage student development of critical thinking, problem solving, and performance skills.”

Reflection: In science classes multiple forms of instruction have fortunately been a part of the curriculum for a long time. With mandatory lab component this allows student to take abstract concepts and hold them in their hands. Fortunately the academic world has seen the importance of varying the types of instruction used to teach students who learn in different ways. As  the standard prior to this one stated, understanding what types of learners you have in your classroom is very important. Because with that information teachers can then make better decisions on how to teach those students.

Evidence: This is an article I reviewed regarding art and biology artful biology projects.
